The action sequence opens the episode, with a nail-biting destruction of an asteroid just before it causes major damage to an inhabited planet.

Nits

Troi is counseling Worf and Alexander, and those two are almost at blows. Yet her recommendation is to boot them out of her office so they can work out the details of their new contract in their quarters. Wouldn’t it have been better if she had participated in this exchange? Sure enough, they are soon back, unable to work out the contract.
