The Enterprise visits Angosia 3, where, while the inhabitants are petitioning to join the Federation, a violent prisoner escapes. When the Enterprise aids in recapturing him, they discover that he was a biologically and mentally engineered soldier, trained to kill, who has now been segregated from society.

Comments

This is a solid, well-paced, and derivative episode. In keeping with TOS, it attempts to take a strong viewpoint about a 20^th century situation on earth that is juxtaposed into an alien culture.

James Cromwell plays Prime Minister Nairok. He later plays Zefran Cochrane in the movie Star Trek: First Contact.

Why don’t Worf and his security buddy beam to engineering or beam to the cargo bay? It makes it a lot easier for Roga to stay ahead of them when they all walk everywhere.
