Strange loops in time aboard the Enterprise are tied to a distress signal from Professor Manheim – a famous time scientist – and his wife, who is a former lover of Picard.

•    The Eiffel Tower looks nice with small craft whooshing around it.

•    At one point, Picard comes off the turbolift and walks onto the bridge; it is filmed from behind him, as if we are a crewperson also coming onto the bridge – a nice change of pace from the normally static camera angles.
